Now Hiring: Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician – Commerce, GA (Immediate Start!)

Career Strategies is seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician for an immediate opening in Commerce, GA .

Direct experience in apartment maintenance is required.

HVAC certification or experience is a strong plus.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and experienced in servicing and maintaining multifamily apartment communities. Technicians must be able to work independently and interact professionally with residents, contractors, and team members.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Plumbing

• Install, repair, or replace faucets, pipes, toilets, water heaters, garbage disposals, and dishwashers.

Electrical

• Replace or repair light fixtures, ceiling fans, outlets, switches, and climate control systems.

Drywall & Painting

• Patch and repair drywall damage and complete interior painting, typically during unit turnovers.

Appliance Repair

• Service or replace major appliances: refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washers/dryers, and A/C units.

Groundskeeping

• Maintain outdoor common areas by mowing, weeding, trimming, sweeping, and replacing exterior lights.

Cleaning & Housekeeping

• Ensure cleanliness of vacant units and shared community areas such as clubhouses, gyms, and offices.

Requirements:

• Direct hands-on apartment maintenance experience is required

• HVAC certification or demonstrated HVAC experience preferred

• Must have your own basic tools

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
