Registered Nurse, PCU (Neuro/Neuro Stepdown) - Atlanta, GA, United States. Travel - temporary assignment. Start date: 06/01/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts on a 2x3 schedule. Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for neuro/step-down patients, including perioperative and post-acute neurological admissions
- Perform ongoing neuro assessments, monitor neurological status, and document NIHSS as part of patient monitoring
- Administer medications and therapies per physician orders; manage IV lines and infusion therapies
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and discharge planning
- Document care in the electronic health record (EPIC); maintain accurate, complete, and timely charting
- Ensure patient safety and quality of care; respond to clinical changes and escalate to the provider as needed

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in the specialty (neuro/step-down or PCU); neuro step-down experience strongly preferred
- NIHSS must be included in the CV packet in order to be considered
- EPIC EMR experience required
- ACLS certification preferred; strong med/surg background with NIHSS, ACLS, and some step-down experience may be considered
- No block scheduling and weekends not required
- Candidate profile must include: work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days, skills checklist, references, certification card, Nursys license verification
- Demographic information and badge-appropriate photo must be loaded into profile
