Medical Front Desk/ Buckhead

Randstad is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Specialist to join a busy specialty practice. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, many of whom manage complex, chronic health conditions and rely on our team for highly coordinated, ongoing care.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, thrives in a high-volume clinical environment, and brings advanced proficiency in handling specialized scheduling and prior authorizations. Responsibilities

• Patient Check-In: Warmly greet patients, manage check-in/check-out process, verify demographics, and update insurance information accurately.
• Complex Scheduling: Coordinate recurring, time-sensitive follow-up appointments and manage complex provider schedules to ensure continuity of care for chronic patients.

• Insurance & Authorizations: Verify commercial and government insurance plans (including Medicare/Medicaid coordination), manage co-pays, and facilitate prior authorizations for specialized diagnostic testing, lab work, and external referrals.

• Records Coordination: Serve as a liaison between our clinic, primary care physicians, external laboratories, and diagnostic imaging centers to ensure all critical patient records are received ahead of appointments.

• Communication Hub: Answer multi-line phones, triage patient inquiries, and route clinical messages efficiently to nursing and provider staff.
