Albany State University is a fully accredited senior unit of the University System of Georgia. Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 209.

Job Summary

The Dual Enrollment Manager provides strategic coordination and operational oversight for Albany State University's Dual Enrollment program and related early college access initiatives, including the Achieve Atlanta partnership. This position manages program operations, supports enrollment coordination, ensures compliance with Georgia Student Finance Commission Dual Enrollment policies, and maintains collaborative partnerships with regional high schools and external stakeholders.

The Dual Enrollment Manager serves as the primary liaison between Albany State University and high school partners, providing guidance on admissions processes, course eligibility, funding requirements, and program participation. The position coordinates the review and approval of course submissions through the Georgia Futures system, facilitates course registration, and works closely with campus partners to ensure accurate enrollment and student support.

Through recruitment coordination, advising support, partnership engagement, and program oversight, the Dual Enrollment Manager contributes to Albany State University's enrollment growth, strengthens the high school-to-college pipeline, and promotes successful transition into postsecondary education.

Responsibilities

Program Management and Compliance

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Dual Enrollment program, ensuring alignment with University System of Georgia and Georgia Student Finance Commission policies.
  • Monitor Dual Enrollment course submissions and funding eligibility through the Georgia Futures system to ensure compliance with state guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of student participation, course approvals, funding eligibility, and enrollment status.
  • Coordinate with Financial Aid and the Registrar to ensure accurate processing of student enrollment and funding approvals.

Enrollment Coordination and Advising Support

  • Coordinate the admissions and enrollment process for Dual Enrollment students, including application review, documentation processing, and course registration.
  • Provide guidance to Dual Enrollment and Achieve Atlanta students regarding course selection, degree pathways, and academic success strategies.
  • Monitor student academic progress and collaborate with campus partners to address academic concerns and provide appropriate referrals.

Partnership Development and External Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high school counselors, administrators, and partner organizations regarding Dual Enrollment program participation.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with regional high school partners to support program growth and student participation.
  • Collaborate with campus leadership to support the development and maintenance of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with partner schools.

Recruitment and Outreach

  • Support Dual Enrollment recruitment efforts through high school visits, presentations, information sessions, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management to promote Dual Enrollment as a pathway to full-time enrollment at Albany State University.

Student Engagement and Program Support

  • Coordinate orientation sessions, workshops, and engagement opportunities that support Dual Enrollment and Achieve Atlanta students¿ transition into college coursework.
  • Promote student success by connecting participants with academic resources, tutoring services, and campus support programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in higher education, counseling, student affairs, education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in academic advising, enrollment management, admissions, student services, or program coordination.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in higher education, counseling, student affairs, education, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Dual Enrollment programs, college access initiatives, or scholarship-supported student populations.
  • Experience collaborating with K-12 partners, school counselors, or external education organizations.

  • Knowledge of Dual Enrollment policies and regulations administered through the Georgia Student Finance Commission and Georgia Futures.
  • Knowledge of academic advising practices, course registration processes, and higher education enrollment procedures.
  • Knowledge of University System of Georgia and Albany State University admissions and enrollment policies.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills for outreach and recruitment activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate institutional policies to students, families, and external partners.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal departments and external partners.
