Safety Specialist
A Safety Specialist is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Peachtree City, GA area. This role will oversee plant-wide safety compliance, conduct inspections, and perform root cause analysis to mitigate risks in a high-noise manufacturing environment. location: Peachtree City, Georgia

salary: $20 - 30 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:
- Oversee daily safety compliance and conduct regular plant inspections.
- Coordinate and lead safety meetings and employee training sessions.
- Ensure strict adherence to corporate safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Maintain daily logs and document detailed safety observations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Investigate and resolve employee safety complaints and health concerns.
- Develop and implement Health & Safety management systems and compliance programs.
- Identify fire safety risks and manage environmental safety initiatives.
- Experience in fire safety and risk identification.
- Environmental experience, highly preferred.
- Professional safety certifications highly desirable.
- Significant problem solving situations involve investigation and resolution of employee complaints, root cause analysis of incidents, and recommendations for improvement.
- Must have excellent organizational and cross functional skills, as well as oral and written communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Associates degree in industrial safety/health/hygiene and/or
- A minimum of (2-3) years of professional plant level experience in the planning, development, and implementation of Health & Safety management systems and compliance programs.
