Junior Field Representative Intern - Summer 2026

Job Description

OVERVIEW

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Junior Field Representative Intern to join our Atlanta, GA office.

YOUR ROLE

• Carries materials (usually up to 60 lbs.).
• Prepares testing site using shovel, wheelbarrow and other tools.
• Assists field representatives in sampling materials and conducting soil testing, concrete or asphalt testing, and similar activities.
• Takes general notes on construction process, keeping diary records.
• Performs minimal plan reading, e.g., station location, curve information, locating features and elevations.
• Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

ABOUT YOU

• EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a related degree from an accredited college/university by the start of the internship (Summer 2026).
• SPECIAL SKILLS: Must be able to follow directions, take legible notes, and be physically fit to do manual
• labor and carry up to 60 lbs
• PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS: None

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
