Education, Training, & Experience

1. PA with Board Certification via NCCPA for Physician Assistants
2. Experience in Neurology or Neurosurgery.
3. Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives.
4. Desire to be part of a growing and high-volume outpatient practice.

Practice Overview

1. The Neurosurgery team currently includes four Neurosurgeons and six APPs, six ambulatory APPs, and 4 inpatient APPs.
2. Responsibilities include performing patient histories, assist with treatment plans, manage post-operative care.
3. Prepare complex patients for spinal and cranial surgeries with surgeon supervision including inpatient rounding and surgical first assist.
4. EMR - EPIC
5. Work Monday – Friday with shared weekend coverage.
6. Office locations could include Gainesville, Buford, Braselton and potentially Dawsonville.
7. The ideal candidate will possess a mature, calm, even-keeled personality and compassionate manner. A self-starter mentality and excellent work ethic along with a positive, flexible attitude are critical.
