System Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for administering and supporting PeopleSoft environments across Windows and Linux platforms .

Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

System Administrator job responsibilities include:

• Install, administer, secure, and maintain PeopleSoft infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot middleware/database issues, and perform tuning to ensure stable and efficient operations.

• Apply PeopleTools, application upgrades, patches, and security updates for WebLogic, Tuxedo, JDK/JRE, and related components.

• Document and update architecture standards, configurations, and daily operational procedures.

• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises, including failover testing.

• Provide 24×7 on‑call support and respond to critical issues during evenings or weekends as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

• 8+ years of experience supporting and administering PeopleSoft environments.

• Strong hands‑on expertise with PeopleSoft infrastructure, including WebLogic, Tuxedo, PeopleTools upgrades, and patch management.

• Proficiency in system performance monitoring and troubleshooting across Windows and Linux platforms, with experience supporting 24×7 on‑call operations.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $68.00 per hour
