Front of House Manager – Max Lager’s Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery

Max Lager’s, Georgia’s oldest brewpub , is looking for a driven and experienced Front of House (FOH) Manager to join our team. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Max Lager’s combines award-winning craft beer brewed on-site with wood-fired fare, a lively bar scene, and a reputation for hospitality that has made us a favorite among locals, travelers, and event groups alike.

As FOH Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the dining room and bar, ensuring every guest experience reflects our high standards for food, beverage, and hospitality. You will work closely with the General Manager and ownership to develop and train staff, uphold steps of service, and drive consistency across shifts.

• Oversee daily FOH operations, including service, staffing, and floor management

• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate servers, bartenders, and support staff

• Maintain a welcoming and organized guest experience, from walk-ins to large parties

• Partner with the bar team on beverage program execution and quality

• Monitor labor costs and operational efficiencies to hit weekly goals

• Support private event execution in coordination with the Sales & Events team

• Lead pre-shift lineups and implement family meal service

• Enforce company policies and hold staff accountable to standards

• A positive, motivated FOH team that delivers consistent, memorable service

• Increased guest satisfaction scores (Google and OpenTable ratings)

• Strong relationships with regular guests, tourists, and downtown business partners

• Labor and operational metrics consistently hitting targets

• 2+ years of FOH leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant or brewpub

• Strong communication and team-building skills

• Passion for hospitality and craft beer culture

• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
