What We're Looking For

Travelpro is seeking a Facilities Administrator to join our Distribution team! In this role you will be responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient operations in support of the warehouse team at the distribution center. You will work to support and increase safety, quality, up-time, and efficiency. This position will primarily focus on facilities related tasks but will often require supporting the Shipping Administrator.

What You'll Do

- Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
- Assist with office layout planning and office moves, and with managing and maintaining IT infrastructure
- Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies and physical space
- Conduct and maintain building inventories (office supplies, machines etc.)
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Inspect warehouse equipment for possible problems and report findings
- Perform inspection and preventive maintenance services for equipment in the field and troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field as needed.
- Adherence to safety standards in all processes and practices
- Perform other tasks as assigned

What You'll Need

- 2-3 years working in a distribution administrative support function or relevant area
- Manufacturing/Distribution experience highly desired
- Microsoft Office Suites and Excel proficient
- Solid understanding of a variety of repair techniques and tool operation
- Adept at using hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment
- Time Management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, integrity, credibility and commitment
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Must have sound judgment, reasonability, and maintain high attention to detail
- Willing to work flexible hours when necessary to support the business requirements
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend for the entire work day
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Works in distribution environment; exposure to noise and dust
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly
