Ready to bring your setup and programming talent to a high-mix precision shop? Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist & Programmer. Skip repetitive button-pushing. You'll solve complex manufacturing puzzles, program intricate geometries, and craft tight-tolerance components for aerospace and critical industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit, program, and optimize CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.

• Execute complete setups for low-volume, high-mix, tight-tolerance parts.

• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and CAD models.

• Apply shop math and trigonometry to calculate angles, tapers, and offsets.

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections.

What They're Looking For

• Proven CNC machining/programming background in precision job shops.

• Solid CAD/CAM skills and strong command of shop math/trigonometry.

• Clear understanding of GD&T, tight tolerances, and varied metals.

salary: $30,000 - $40,000 per year

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• Manufacturing (2 years of experience is preferred)
