Residential Real Estate Closer
- Coordinate all aspects of the closing process with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys.
- Prepare and review closing documents, including Closing Disclosure, ALTA Settlement Statement, deeds, and title policies. Closer must be proficient with SoftPro Select.
- Ability to understand title issues and collaborate with attorneys for title clearance.
- Schedule and process fundings, ensuring all conditions are met prior to funding.
- Communicate effectively with all parties to ensure a smooth transaction.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in residential real estate closings (Georgia experience preferred).
- Knowledge of Georgia closing laws and attorney-supervised closing requirements.
- Proficiency in SoftPro Select.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Notary Public certification.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Fee Requests/Approvals with billing experience in a law firm that has a high transaction volume is preferred;
- Proficiency with excel and other Microsoft products;
- BKFS, Vendorscape, SSE Portal and TEMPO experience preferred, but not required;
- Proficiency in Judicial foreclose process;
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
- Overall good attitude and willingness to adapt to change;
- Must possess good organizational skills;
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner;
- Balances team and individual responsibilities;
- Contributes to building a positive team spirit;
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness;
- Looks for ways to improve and promote quality;
- Must be very analytical and have excellent problem solving skills;
