Disbursement Supervisor
:
Position Summary
Under the supervision and administrative direction of the Controller, the Disbursement Supervisor reviews, reconciles, and processes various routine accounting transactions for expenses, reimbursements, receipts and/or payments in accordance with established accounting procedures. Provides administrative and clerical support as needed. Performs other related duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the General Direction of the Controller, input bills and invoices into the system.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable/Payable.
- Maintain all Accounts Payable files.
- Process and maintain Expense Reports and Credit Card reconciliation.
- Oversight of new, decentralized Accounts Payable Process beginning in Spring of 2024.
- Management of weekly check run process.
- General ledger maintenance, including fixed asset reporting and reconciliation.
- Enters data into a database management system and verifies entries through daily audit.
- Assists with year-end file purge by reviewing files to ensure that all invoices have been correctly filed before they are moved into storage.
- Sets up files and files correspondence to ensure information is easily retrieved. Fax, copy, and distribute forms and documents as necessary.
- Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development. Attends educational in-services as appropriate.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year accounting clerk experience.
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills; able to deal with all levels and abilities of callers.
- Ability to type on the keyboard at least 30 accurate words per minute.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
- Have great time management skills; be self-efficient, and hands-on in learning the company's policies and procedures.
- Be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Additional Information
This position will generally work 40 hours per week; however, the position requires a willingness and flexibility in working hours when necessary to fulfill job responsibilities including occasional evening or weekend work. The employee is subject to personnel policies and procedures prescribed for all employees.
