Senior Quality Control Manager

The Senior Quality Control Manager is responsible for supervising and mentoring the lab team, and day to day activities within the quality control function to ensure proper product quality and food safety, including managing and implementing quality systems, as well as facilitating compliance inspections. Responsible for managing QA operations to support the GMP manufacturing, testing and releasing of finished product under FDA standards and internal procedures.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and oversee quality control processes and procedures
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the manufacturing process
• Effectively manage food safety (HACCP) program and all associated pre-requisite programs
• Provide support on internal and external audit program, which includes focus on GMP compliance and regulatory agency inspection readiness
• Maintain detailed records of quality control operations
• Oversee product testing and validation procedures
• Review and update relevant GMP documents for compliance to company SOPs, quality systems and regulatory requirements on a regular basis
• Oversee investigations of non-conforming product and out-of-specification product results
• Provide support on customer complaints and root cause analysis
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Develop continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality related issues
• Maintain an organized, clean, safe and health conscious work environment

Your Profile:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
• 5+ years QA/AC Management with food /beverage experience as well as exceptional leadership skills
• Proficiency with regulation and guideline interpretation, review procedures, proper documentation and lab departmental policies.
• HACCP Certification
• SAP experience preferred
• PCQI certification strongly preferred
• Regulatory experience is considered a plus
