Mid-Market Sales Executive
The ideal candidate is a proactive, trusted professional who builds credibility across client organizations. You will bring the business acumen and sophistication to present differentiated sales strategies while understanding what drives decision-making, including risks, opportunities, and priorities. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, the ability to develop strong business cases, and the skill to influence others effectively. You should be confident navigating complex sales conversations, building pipeline, and presenting high-level, value-driven solutions to executive audiences. While the role is 100% remote, individual must be located in the United States. Responsibilities:
- Drive growth and profitability within assigned geography/vertical by consistently meeting or exceeding revenue, margin, and performance targets.
- Effectively communicate and champion First Advantage’s vision, brand, and strategic value to prospective clients.
- Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to enhance communication, retention, and long-term satisfaction.
- Present and position a configurable, centralized solution that delivers clear ROI through efficiency, compliance, service excellence, and technology innovation.
- Lead discovery conversations to uncover client needs, overcome objections, and present tailored, strategic business cases.
- Proactively build and manage a robust sales pipeline, staying ahead of industry trends and client needs.
- Provide feedback and insights to product and technology teams to influence innovation and ensure market-relevant solutions.
- Leverage internal systems and cross-functional teams to optimize solution delivery, product configuration, and client service.
- Stay current on industry benchmarks, trends, emerging technologies, privacy legislation, and the competitive landscape to inform strategy and ensure compliance.
- Successfully navigate and close complex, consultative sales cycles with high-level stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing post-go-live support to customers, ensuring a smooth transition, continued satisfaction, and long term partnership success.
- Bring a collaborative, strategic mindset with strong critical thinking skills that enhance team credibility and contribute to First Advantage’s industry leadership.
- Operate with agility and excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic, and performance-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of consultative sales experience in a progressive, high-performing environment—ideally within human capital, BPO, or technology-based industries.
- Proven ability to lead strategic discovery conversations, anticipate objections, and clearly articulate the value of a differentiated, high-impact solution
- Consistent track record of creating urgency and priority within client organizations to drive momentum and close deals.
- Strong experience negotiating and closing new business, including contracts, pricing, terms, conditions, and service level agreements.
- Demonstrated success generating leads, building pipeline, and securing executive-level presentation opportunities through proactive, targeted outreach aligned with company goals.
- Ability to access and influence VP and executive-level decision-makers across prospective client organizations.
- Results-driven mindset with a history of meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Skilled at accurately forecasting and managing a complex sales cycle involving multiple products and services.
- Keeps a pulse on market trends, competitor activity, and broader industry shifts to inform sales strategy.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the agility to thrive in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.
- Willing and able to travel as needed to meet business objectives.

The salary range for this position is approximately $60,000-$70,000 salary before bonus structure. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
