Senior Electrical Engineer PE
JOB SUMMARY
Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineering degree for our corporate Marietta office. This position requires 10+ years of experience in industrial, federal, and municipal building projects. EDT is a trusted business partner in the construction industry with over 32 years of operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate within a project team setting with engineers and designers to carry out detailed electrical design and project management for high-voltage substation projects.
- Actively engage in project conceptualization, work planning, and execution.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve various electrical engineering challenges.
- Prepare clear and concise technical reports that meet client requirements and S&L Formats that align with company standards.
- Participate in peer learning and knowledge-sharing to support professional growth and development.
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- P.E. license in Georgia is required (P.E. license in Alabama is a plus)
- Minimum of ten years experience
- Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal skills
