Maintenance Mechanic (Day Shift)

Maintenance Technician Job Purpose We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and perform mechanical repairs on manufacturing, packaging, conveying, and facilities equipment. You will handle component-level repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems.

Shift Schedule

• Shift: 10-Hour (5:30 AM -3:00 PM)

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Key Attributes:

• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.

• Ability to work independently during the night shift while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

• Commitment to full attendance during the mandatory 7-week onboarding window.

Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Actively participate in the “Sika SAFE” program.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Execute work orders and Preventative Maintenance (PMs); troubleshoot equipment as needed.

• Process Equipment Management: Maintain and repair mixers, piping systems, valves, pumps, instrumentation, and controls.

• Packaging Equipment Management: Oversee conveyors, fillers, palletizers, robotics, and material handling systems.

• Facilities Maintenance: Service fork trucks, dock equipment, HVAC, overhead doors, and plumbing.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 10 hours at one time
• working weekends
