Intake Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Intake Coordinator to join our outpatient vascular team in our Douglas, GA location. This job is a full time, in-office position. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the initial interaction with patients, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately and efficiently gathered and processed to facilitate an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial assessments and gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring data is correctly entered into the system.
- Collaborate with medical staff and administrative teams to ensure the seamless admission of patients.
- Schedule appointments and manage referrals to appropriate departments or specialists.
- Provide patients and families with relevant information regarding services, policies, and procedures with clarity and empathy.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Handle inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Assist in the development and improvement of intake protocols and procedures for enhanced service delivery.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous, particularly in administrative or intake roles.
- Proficiency in the use of computer systems and software for data entry and management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

What We Offer

This is a Full Time role, 5 days per week, no weekends or holidays required.

There is an hourly rate that from $18 to $20.50 per hour, based on your education, certification, job experience and job fit.
