General Assembly Vehicle Engineering Assistant Manager - Bilingual (Korean / English) (Savannah)

Serve as the technical lead for general assembly during new vehicle launches, supporting process development, production readiness, and cross-functional collaboration between Korean and U.S. teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assembly engineering activities for new model launches, including equipment installation, supplier coordination, and process implementation.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between Korean engineering teams and local production teams; translate technical documents and meetings as needed.
• Develop assembly process sheets, visual work instructions, and labor standards using MODAPTS.
• Ensure assembly workability, quality, safety, ergonomics, and productivity targets are met.
• Support daily production issues, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional problem solving.
• Manage project budgets, prepare reports, and present updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of engineering or manufacturing experience; 3+ years in production process development.
• Business-level proficiency in English and Korean.
• Strong MS Office skills; domestic and international travel required.
