Job Summary
As a Real Estate Leasing & Sales Associate, your primary responsibility is to drive occupancy by managing leasing leads, conducting outbound sales calls, facilitating virtual and in-person tours, and securing leases across our portfolio. You will also represent Arcan Capital and our clients in property sales where you will be expected to post and oversee listings, facilitate property tours and represent the company, it’s executives and clients in the sale and acquisition of real estate.
You will serve as a primary point of contact for prospective residents—guiding them from the initial inquiry through application, approval, and move-in. You will highlight community features, present available homes, and create a strong first impression that supports leasing success. You will be expected to support elements of the client and resident experience by answering inquiries, assisting with daily leasing and sale operations, and partnering with clients and on-site teams to ensure efficient and seamless community operations and sale transactions. Your ability to communicate effectively, build rapport, and deliver exceptional service will directly contribute to resident satisfaction. This role is approximately 90% corporate-based leasing & sales and 10% on-site support, with occasional travel.Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Sales
- Proactively engage prospective residents through outbound calls, follow-up communication, virtual tours, and email outreach.
- Secure leases by effectively presenting Arcan Capital’s portfolio, amenities, locations, and community benefits.
- Manage leads, applications, and conversion rates through CRM and property management software.
- Deliver clear, informative presentations of rental options and qualification requirements.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure smooth transitions from approval through move-in.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of pricing, availability, promotions, and community features across multiple properties.
- Support marketing and digital advertising efforts aimed at generating new leads.
- Meet or exceed monthly leasing goals, earning commissions and bonuses for performance.
- Travel occasionally (approx. 10%) to support on-site leasing events or community needs.
Resident Experience & Community Support
- Provide professional, friendly service to residents and prospects across all communication channels.
- Assist with application processing, verifications, and preparation of lease agreements.
- Support move-in readiness and ensure apartments meet Arcan’s quality standards.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation of leases for resident files.
- Participate in resident engagement and community initiatives.
- Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to help maintain competitive positioning.
Real Estate Growth & Learning Opportunities
- Use your real estate license to support tasks that require a licensed professional.
- Gain exposure to real estate market research, rental comps, and general portfolio analysis.
- Observe high-level aspects of the acquisitions and investment process as opportunities arise.
- Grow your knowledge of multifamily real estate while maintaining leasing and sales as your core focus.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active real estate license required.
- Strong sales mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and consistently following up with leads.
- Customer-service oriented with a genuine interest in helping people find homes.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and goal-driven demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and leads simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfort with CRM or property management software.
- Ability to work independently in a corporate environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10%).
Education & Experience (Preferred but Not Required)
- Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, hospitality, or sales development.
- Background or interest in real estate, property management, or multifamily housing.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional real estate coursework is a plus.
