**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Screen individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
+ Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or documentation as required by site policy.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel to support security-related operations.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
+ Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ CPR certification is preferred.
+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
