Bandsaw Operator

Prince Service and Manufacturing  is looking for individuals who are ethical, customer focused, problem solvers, flexible, and selfless. As a  Band Saw Operator , you will take a variety of materials and run it over the band saw table, following the appropriate process to cut material into specified shapes. The band saw operator will ensure the safe operation of the machine.

Location/Schedule: Macon, GA / 1st shift & 2nd shift available

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
• Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Operation of Band Saw.
• Cut material to correct lengths.
• Keeps track of materials in Fab department and alerts supervision when running low.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Documents actions with correct forms.
• Willing to perform other manufacturing tasks as directed and when needed. Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions. Other duties as assigned by Management.

Who You Are:

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate the English language and follow verbal and written instruction.
• Must have excellent listening skills.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Must be proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
