Position: Assistant Property Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Full time – hourly
Monday – Friday: 8 am – 5pm
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
This Position requires individual to be onsite and is tenant facing. Work from home flexibility is not available in this role.

Summary
Assistant Property Manager is responsible for working directly with the Management team to ensure the upkeep of the property, equipment, building structure, grounds are completed in a first class manner as per clients requirements, ownership goals and expectations.

This position involves supporting your team to deliver best in class service. As an Assistant Property Manager with clients, you are responsible for exhibiting exceptional customer service when communicating with tenants, prospective tenants, owners, and vendors with a constant focus on productivity and results.
Additionally, the Assistant Property Manager is responsible for representing Clients in the local and
regional business and real estate community in order to promote clients reputation and capabilities to prospective tenants and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee building grounds and maintenance
• Operates and oversees custodial functions
• Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
• Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to Clients policy and procedures
• Handles general accounting tasks, such as petty cash and budgeting
• Oversees and supervise the quality of work for other employees and vendors to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively
• Manages and reviews service contracts
• Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections
• Checks completed work by vendors and contractors
• Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
• Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees, vendors, contractors, etc. Reports any issues immediately to direct supervisor
• Communicates with tenants regarding maintenance issues, scheduled repairs, etc.
• Assists with move in and move outs such as coordinating, scheduling, compliance, etc.
• May assist with leasing by unlocking vacant suites, taking photos of vacant spaces, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED; Associates Degree is preferred.
• 2-4 years commercial property management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher.
