About the Role

How You’ll Make an Impact

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving daily operational excellence while leading high-performing teams across our Georgia facilities.

• Lead the daily operations of a logistics facility , ensuring efficient scheduling, throughput, and on-time delivery to customers.

• Serve as a key customer interface , coordinating schedules, managing expectations, and adjusting labor in real time to meet demand.

• Execute contingency plans during disruptions, system issues, or emergencies; escalate appropriately and support root-cause and post-mortem analyses.

• Monitor performance against KPIs and targets; implement corrective actions and escalate risks as needed.

• Provide strong, visible leadership to Warehouse Managers and operational teams , enforcing company standards and modeling DP World values.

• Identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives .

• Perform additional duties as required to support business needs.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• Progressive leadership experience in operations, plant, warehouse, or logistics management (automotive or logistics industry preferred).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex operational data and make sound decisions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership and customers .

• Proven ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems, and lead through change.

• Proficiency with standard business systems and tools (email, databases, spreadsheets, reporting, etc.).

Physical Requirements

Standing and Walking: Will need to stand for long periods of time, such as when packing items, or walk long distances, such as when picking items from different locations

Postures: Bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching.

Lifting - Able to lift 20 to 50lbs repetitively throughout the curse of a shift without assistance (weight varies based on product).

Clothing PPE: Ability to wear personal protective gear (which may include, but is not limited to, composite toe shoes, gloves, headwear, face masks, hearing protection, fall protection, high visibility clothing, and/or safety glasses)

Vision: Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)

Environment: Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment, with temperatures that can vary widely from extreme heat in the summer to extreme cold in the winter.
