As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, you will provide crucial recruitment and talent sourcing support to Retail, Corporate and other divisions as needed. Location : Position works from the Havertys Home Office located at 780 Johnson Ferry Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30342 four days per week with an optional, one day work from home.
Pay is $75k based on experience.

Major Function : The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across divisions including people services, retail, home office, distribution, and delivery providing key recruitment responsibilities for retail positions while supporting talent acquisition (TA) with recruitment coordination across all recruitment functions.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:


The Talent Acquisition Recruiter plays a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of recruitment including:


• Works closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition and Hiring Managers as a strategic recruitment partner to understand Havertys Furniture staffing demands and to effectively attract and hire top talent for Havertys Furniture.
• Recruits Retail and Corporate positions include Managers, Interior Designers, Sales Consultants, all Home Office and will learn and assist recruitment in Delivery, Distribution and Home Office.
• Effectively and efficiently performs full-cycle recruitment to create job descriptions, postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, and presenting candidates to hiring managers.
• Administers Havertys job descriptions becoming familiar with all department functions and pay structures to effectively support TA across divisions throughout Havertys Furniture.
• Ensures adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations and Havertys policies in the employment process.
• Performs all areas for recruitment coordination including but not limited to; administering Havertys Indeed account, posting positions, creating weekly reports, creating Talent Acquisition training reference guides, performing reference checks, reviews background checks, orders drug testing supplies, creates and attends career fairs, administers job descriptions in success factors, completes invoicing for Talent Acquisitions etc.
• Partners with the Director of Talent Acquisitions on projects related to talent acquisition such as creating recruitment guides for managers, monitoring and developing pre/post-employment practices, creating analytic reports in Success Factors, reviews and write hiring policies, and other projects, as necessary.
• Leads home office requests for contractor services through temp agency engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Education : Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related field. Other education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience : 5+ years in talent acquisition, human resources, staffing, preferably in home furnishings or a top 100 retail brand.
Full desk recruitment knowledge and experience : Demonstrated experience in full desk recruitment including knowledge of sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and job offer negotiation skills, and consultative partnership.
HRIS Experience : Preferred Success Factors Recruitment, CRM, HRIS, and/or customer tracking databases to manage data and candidate relationships. Foundational knowledge and application of Federal and State employment laws.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and make informed decisions using data software and business intelligence reporting.
Communication and Leadership : High level communication and leadership skills are necessary to collaborate with cross-functional teams and help lead the Talent Acquisition initiatives effectively.
Travel : as needed.
Skills : strong organizational, diligence, written and oral communication, influencing, listening and problem solving. The ability to work independently with proven self-starting initiative must be trustworthy and dependable. Must be able to guide and influence hiring leaders to move quickly in selection and offer stages to optimize the opportunity to hire top candidates.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, Success Factors or other ATS with ability to learn multiple applications as needed.
