We are looking for our next Sales Development Specialist with a focus on Sales Performance Management (SPM) solutions to join our growing team in the Americas!

Within the SDE team, our purpose is to be a game-changer in the enterprise software industry by delivering a seamless, value-driven digital experience to customers, specifically addressing the financial and procurement transformation needs of organizations.

Our mission is to increase sales productivity by generating a high-quality pipeline focused on sales planning and Incentive management solutions that convert into measurable revenue and help customers achieve operational excellence.

As a Sales Development Executive aligned to the SPM portfolio, you will be responsible for engaging with finance, revenue operations, sales, and sales operations leaders. Your focus will be on building a pipeline of opportunities that address business challenges in sales planning, seller visibility, incentive management, and compliance.

You will work closely with Account Executives, Solution Advisors, and Partners to drive digital transformation initiatives that improve financial outcomes and operational efficiencies for our customers in the Americas market.

Key Responsibilities:

· Generate leads and opportunities through targeted prospecting of Sales Performance Management functions within organizations

· Design prospecting strategies in alignment with the Sales Performance Management Sales Team and Ecosystem Partners

· Conduct proactive outbound outreach to drive interest in solutions such as sales planning, Sales Cloud, Agent Performance management, and Incentive management functions.

· Engage with CROs, CFOs, Rev Ops Directors, and Sales Ops Leaders through multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, webinars)

· Meet and exceed sales development KPIs and demand generation targets specific to finance and procurement solutions

· Be a key contributor in promoting SAP’s SPM Management and Transformation portfolio

· Leverage best-in-class digital selling tools and methodologies to scale outreach and improve engagement

· Support strategic initiatives and campaigns related to spend optimization, cash flow management, and compliance

What You Bring:

· 2–5 years of B2B demand generation or software sales experience, preferably in Finance, ERP, Spend Management, or Procurement technology.

· Familiarity with the North American market dynamics, especially within revenue and sales operations departments or functions.

Education, Skills & Competencies:

· University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, IT, or Digital Transformation

· Keen interest in finance digitalization, procurement technology, and enterprise software solutions

· Understanding of sales operations challenges such as territory management, planning and sales incentive visibility

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to act as a trusted advisor to finance leaders

· Ability to listen actively and tailor messaging to resonate with customer pain points and strategic goals

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
