Assistant to the VP of Human Resources

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Assistant to the VP of Human Resources. In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the VP of Human Resources and contribute to the efficient operation of the department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Human Resources and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the VP of Human Resources in managing their daily schedule, including arranging meetings, coordinating travel, and prioritizing tasks.

- Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations for the VP of Human Resources.

- Maintain confidential files and records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

- Assist in the coordination and execution of HR initiatives, such as employee onboarding, performance management, and training programs.

- Respond to inquiries from employees and external stakeholders, providing information and guidance as necessary.

- Support HR projects by conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing summaries or recommendations.

- Collaborate with other members of the HR team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.

- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Human Resources, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Skills: - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively- Proficient in office management tasks such as filing, record keeping, and document preparation- Accurate data entry skills to input and update employee information in HR systems- Ability to transcribe and type documents accurately and efficiently- Familiarity with Outlook Calendar or similar scheduling tools for calendar management- Knowledge of phone systems to handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.

- Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and regulations.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

- Proactive and resourceful with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
