Medical Receptionist/Concierge

This role is the first impression and ambassador of a concierge medical practice, which is dedicated to delivering personalized, high-touch care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. The Medical Receptionist is essential for maintaining a serene, professional atmosphere and ensuring every patient feels welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive. This position blends traditional front-desk duties with hospitality and concierge-level administrative support. salary: $18 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients and visitors, consistently ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
• Schedule consultations that have shown interest via the website.
• Support patients with special requests , including coordinating transportation, referrals, or other concierge-level services.
• Manage patient appointments, including accurate scheduling, confirmation, and managing patient flow in coordination with the clinical staff.
• Promptly answer phone calls and emails, accurately directing inquiries.
• Maintain and update patient records, strictly upholding confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Process payments and assist with detailed inquiries regarding concierge membership .
• Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and supply management.
• Maintain the list of potential new patients , meticulously tracking contact details, referral sources, and the scheduling status for introductory meet-and-greet appointments.
• Proactively follow up with prospective patients to coordinate their introductions and ensure timely scheduling.

Skills

• EPIC (2 years of experience is required)
• Concierge Patient Contact (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Appointment Scheduling (2 years of experience is required)
• Insurance Verification (1 year of experience is required)
• MS Excel (3 years of experience is required)
