Job Title: Nursing Position Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Trauma/Surgery Duration: Not specified Shift: Must be willing to work given shifts, no block schedules Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Experience in handling high-acuity patients, including surgical cases, gunshot victims, quadriplegics, and paraplegics. - Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system. - Ability to work with a patient ratio of 5:1 with nursing support technicians, phlebotomists, and a unit secretary available at night. - Completion of nurse handoff with emergency department and admitting unit nurses. Description: This position involves working in a high-acuity surgical and trauma environment. The role requires skilled nursing care for surgical patients and those with critical injuries.
