Family Law Litigation Associate (0-3 Years Experience)

About the Role:

Atlanta Family Law Group LLC is a litigation-focused family law firm seeking a motivated associate who wants meaningful courtroom exposure and structured professional growth.

This role is designed for an attorney who wants to develop strong litigation skills within a high-functioning team environment. You will manage an active caseload with administrative and paralegal support, clear expectations, and a defined path for increased responsibility based on performance.

$95,000 - $110,000 yearly

• Manage a structured docket of family law matters (divorce, custody, support, modifications, legitimation, TPOs, etc.)
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement proposals
• Prepare financial affidavits and parenting plans
• Participate in mediations and hearings
• Appear in court independently as experience and performance allow
• Maintain consistent client communication and strategic case planning
• Collaborate closely with paralegals and support staff to move cases efficiently

Required:

• Georgia Bar license in good standing
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneously
• Professional communication skills under pressure

Preferred:

• Prior family law experience
• Courtroom or evidentiary hearing exposure
• Internship or clerkship in domestic relations
