Electrical Contracting Superintendent
Job Description
As an Electrical Contracting Superintendent with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support electrical contractors throughout Dawsonville, GA and the surrounding area.
In this full time role, you'll enjoy weekly pay, and health insurance benefits. Additionally, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of hotel or multi-family projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Note: The hourly rate for this position is $46 - $46 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of electrical contracting projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Oversee and lead project teams, including electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient and effective execution of project tasks
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and satisfaction
- Prepare and review project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports. Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle
- Ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to team members
Qualifications:
3 years minimum of Hospitality experience either as an installer or lead 3 years minimum of superintendent experience
- Local with desire to travel for future projects
- Must be able to lead a crew of 8-10 workers
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Valid electrician's license and any other relevant certifications
