We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Kennel Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, managing various administrative tasks, and overseeing kennel and training staff. This position requires a blend of clerical expertise, animal welfare experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations and kennel staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Manage schedules and calendars for team members, coordinating meetings and appointments.
• Handle event planning for company functions and meetings.
• Supervise staff and provide training and development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records through effective filing systems and bookkeeping practices.
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes.
• Assist with human resources tasks including payroll processing and employee onboarding.
• Prepare budgets and monitor expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting.
• Provide front desk support, including managing multi-line phone systems and greeting visitors with professionalism.

Skills

• Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in schedule management and calendar coordination.
• Experience in event planning and execution.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and budgeting processes.
• Knowledge of human resources functions including payroll management.
• Ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
• Experience in medical office management is a plus but not required.
• Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.
