What We Do

Our scope of civil construction services includes:
• Land clearing
• Mass grading – large and small scale
• Road construction
• Full-site development (everything outside of the building footprint)
• Installation of underground utilities:
– Storm piping systems
– Potable and fire water systems (mains and services)
– Sanitary sewer systems (mains and services)
• Pond construction
• Roadway and parking lot paving

Position Summary

As a Civil Construction Safety Coordinator , you will be responsible for ensuring safe working conditions across our construction sites. You'll conduct inspections, implement safety protocols, lead training efforts, and work closely with our teams to promote a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular safety inspections and audits on active job sites
• Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans and job hazard analyses (JHAs)
• Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and new employee orientations
• Monitor compliance with PPE and safe operation of equipment
• Investigate incidents and near misses; document findings and corrective actions
• Maintain detailed safety records and reports
• Partner with project managers and subcontractors to promote a safety-first approach
• Stay up-to-date on OSHA and local safety regulations
• Assist in emergency planning and drill coordination

Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety experience in civil construction (earthwork, utilities, paving, etc.)
• OSHA 30, CSO, CHSO, or equivalent certification required
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations
• Effective communicator with strong leadership and observational skills
• Experience with safety software and MS Office tools
