Senior Product Manager
Sr. Product Managers at Promethean are obsessed with solving customer problems, and they always view solutions through the lens of customer value delivery. They are responsible for product ideation, definition, planning and delivery. In managing the full Product Lifecycle, this role spends the majority of their time leading product discovery efforts, helping drive customer research efforts by framing the right questions, keeping on the cutting edge of powerful product management practices and sharing knowledge freely. They are highly adept at stakeholder communication and fostering healthy, cross-functional team collaboration.\n
Responsibilities:- Defines strategy and roadmap for the next 1-2 years based on customer needs, market trends and business objectives.
- Participates in the definition of strategic goals for the portfolio.
- Expertly manages discovery and delivery work to identify and create solutions to customer problems for products within their domain.
- Supports the generation of new initiatives and epics for products within their domain, as a result of customer research and product usage data.
- Keeps up to date with industry trends and competitive technologies and uses that information to identify potential product opportunities and vulnerabilities.
- Actively engages with best-in-class Product Management practices and shares learned information with the goal of helping the entire team get better at their craft.
- Evangelizes their product in a way that makes customers and stakeholders true believers in the value proposition.
- Manages the lifecycle of epics and features in the product backlog from ideation through sunset (requirements gathering, creation, refinement, prioritization, delivery).
- Monitors, analyzes and reports on product performance and uses the information to drive product evolution through its full lifecycle.
- 5 – 7+years of experience in product management roles
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about bringing new products to market, solve multi-layered customer problems, and measure outcomes
- Experience in growing and scaling SaaS products and working with 3rd party technology partners and solutions providers
- Technical competence in their area of expertise, leveraged to drive mutually beneficial cross-functional partnerships with technical leads
- Domain knowledge in remote device management architecture and platforms such as Intune, Google Admin Console Jamf, Radix, and other MDM solutions
- Superior communication skills, and the ability to promote compelling visions through storytelling, written and spoken language and powerful imagery
- Excellence in problem solving, including the ability to identify desired outcomes and work strategically to achieve them by skillfully overcoming obstacles
- Comprehensive understanding of the Education market, including competitor products and industry trends, is highly desirable
- Experience with the Android operating system is preferred, but not required
Base Range: $ - $ + [Bonus OR Commission] Eligible
