AP Specialist- Norcross, GA
firstPRO360 is seeking an AP Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Norcross, GA. Awesome hiring manager who is building out a new shared services team! You will be able to work remotely 1 day/week after training. The ideal candidate will 2-5 yrs of AP experience, as well as a Bachelor's degree.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review invoices (50/day per AP Specialist) for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Matching invoices to purchase orders and coding appropriately
• Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and credit card transactions.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist with other responsibilities as required
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account balances.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any billing-related issues.
• Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency in the accounts payable function.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 yrs of Accounts Payable experience
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Desire to learn and grow in a role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
