Operations Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist

Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery

Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking an Operations team member dedicated to supporting recruiting, candidate evaluation, and onboarding initiatives across our growing organization.

This role will serve as the operational liaison between the recruiting team and practice leadership to help identify, evaluate, and prepare high-quality candidates for success within our oral surgery offices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the recruiting team to review and screen candidates for open positions across multiple locations
• Conduct initial operational interviews to evaluate professionalism, communication skills, cultural fit, and readiness for a fast-paced oral surgery environment
• Meet candidates in person when appropriate to further assess fit for specific office openings
• Coordinate with office leadership and management teams regarding staffing needs and candidate recommendations
• Assist in hiring decisions by providing operational feedback and candidate evaluations
• Lead and coordinate onboarding preparation for newly hired employees prior to their official start date
• Conduct pre-employment orientation and onboarding training to ensure employees understand company expectations, workflows, policies, and patient service standards
• Help prepare new employees for successful integration into clinical and administrative teams
• Monitor onboarding progress and provide additional support during the transition period into the practice
• Maintain consistent hiring and onboarding standards across all locations

Ideal Candidate

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to evaluate personality fit, professionalism, and team compatibility
• Organized and comfortable managing multiple candidates and onboarding timelines simultaneously
• Prior dental, oral surgery, healthcare operations, recruiting, or training experience preferred
• Comfortable traveling between offices as needed
