Breast Radiologist

Talent Consultants is looking for a dedicated and experienced Breast Radiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this critical role, you will focus on diagnosing and treating breast-related conditions through advanced imaging techniques, including mammography, ultrasound, and MRI. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes in breast health. Shift: 7:30am 4:00pm Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret breast imaging studies, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and MRIs.
• Conduct interventional procedures such as breast biopsies, aspirations, and localizations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
• Provide patient consultations, discussing imaging findings and recommending appropriate follow-up care.
• Participate in breast tumor board meetings and contribute to patient management discussions.
• Stay current with breast imaging advancements and evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients and staff about breast health, screening, and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all imaging procedures and patient interactions.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Radiology with a fellowship in Breast Imaging.
• Active state medical license and DEA registration.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in breast radiology preferred.
• Proficient in advanced breast imaging modalities and interventional techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
• Willingness to engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
