IAM SailPoint Engineer (SandySprings)

TRC’s client — a privately held global conglomerate known for strong leadership, long-term stability, and a collaborative culture — is seeking a forward-thinking IAM SailPoint Engineer I to support the evolution of their enterprise identity ecosystem.

This is a high-impact opportunity to join a growing IAM engineering team focused on modernizing identity lifecycle management, automating Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) processes, and strengthening enterprise access governance through intelligent automation and integration.

What You’ll Do

• Implement and support SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC / IdentityNow) solutions
• Configure identity sources, schemas, application integrations, and account aggregations
• Build and maintain identity profiles, lifecycle states, access profiles, roles, and entitlements
• Automate and enhance Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) provisioning and deprovisioning processes
• Configure access request workflows, approval processes, and provisioning policies
• Execute access certification campaigns and manage remediation efforts
• Troubleshoot aggregation, provisioning, and governance issues
• Utilize SailPoint REST APIs and scripting (Python preferred) to automate integrations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, Security, and application owners
• Ensure IAM controls align with security policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks

• Okta
• CyberArk / CA PAM
• Venafi (Machine Identity / Certificate Management)
• Additional IAM platforms (OIM, OAM, etc.)

What They’re Looking For

• Experience with Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), ideally SailPoint ISC
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, SSO, and LDAP best practices
• Experience integrating IAM with directory services and ITSM platforms
• Exposure to REST/SOAP web services
• Familiarity with federated identity protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect)
• Understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
