Project Manager
About the Company
Our partner is a rapidly growing heavy civil construction company recognized for executing complex site development and utility infrastructure projects across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Founded in 2005, our partner has built its reputation on self-perform strength, disciplined planning, and a safety-first mindset-supporting industrial, mission-critical, and large-scale infrastructure work for some of the most demanding clients in the market.
Our partner specializes in mass earthwork, underground utilities, grading, and site infrastructure that enable data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, and other high-consequence developments. The company blends the agility of an entrepreneurial contractor with the systems, equipment fleet, and leadership depth required to deliver fast-paced, schedule-driven projects. As our partner continues to scale geographically and operationally, Project Managers play a critical role in protecting execution quality while supporting sustainable growth.
Role Summary
The Project Manager is the primary manager of project delivery from preconstruction handoff through closeout. This role is accountable for schedule integrity, cost control, subcontractor performance, and client communication across heavy civil projects that often involve aggressive timelines, multiple trade partners, and complex logistics.
Project Managers at our partner operate as business leaders-not just coordinators-balancing field execution realities with contractual, financial, and relationship responsibilities. The role requires strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to anticipate issues before they impact safety, schedule, or budget. This position works closely with Superintendents, Estimating, and senior operations leadership and serves as a key client-facing representative of our partner.
The Mission
Our partner’s mission is to deliver safe, predictable, and high-quality heavy civil infrastructure that enables critical facilities to come online without delay. For the Project Manager, the mission is simple but demanding: plan thoroughly, communicate clearly, and execute with discipline.
Success in this role means running organized projects where scope is controlled, partners are aligned, risks are surfaced early, and field teams are supported-not surprised. Project Managers are expected to uphold our partner’s reputation by protecting client trust, enforcing safety standards, and driving results through preparation rather than reaction.
