Overview: The MainStreet Family Care Preceptorship Program is designed to provide aspiring healthcare professionals specifically family nurse practitioners with hands-on experience and mentorship in a dynamic urgent care setting. This program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical clinical skills preparing individuals for successful careers in healthcare.

Program Highlights:

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited family nurse practitioner program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Desire to work in urgent care preferred.
• Havean active affiliation agreement*

Application Process:

1. Submit a comprehensive resume and answer the application questions.
2. Qualified candidates will then be contacted to set up a brief phone screening where you will learn more about our program and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have!
3. Following the phone screening candidates will schedule a 45-minute interview with our Clinic Management team.
4. If we then feel that you would be a great fit for our preceptorship program we will begin trying to match you with a qualified preceptor at a clinic near will be then contacted with theirplacement information.
5. Candidates will receive a welcome letter and complete the onboarding process.
