Patient Care Tech - MedSurg, Ortho
Piedmont Macon is a 310-bed facility providing compassionate, patient-centered care in middle Georgia. Founded in 1971 as Coliseum Park Hospital by Hospital Corporation of America, Piedmont Macon Medical has grown to be a healthcare leader for middle Georgians. In May 1998, a merger with two other Macon hospitals, middle Georgia and Coliseum Northside Hospitals, provided our community better access and choice of quality healthcare facilities.

For three consecutive years, Piedmont Macon has achieved Healthgrades: Top 5% in the Nation for Patient Safety. Additionally, Piedmont is a Level 1 Emergency Cardiac Care Center and is a Primary Stroke Center. The Breast Center is a Nationally Accredited Program for Breast Centers and has been named a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
Responsibilities: The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Qualifications: Education- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- No experience required
- 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
