GIS Specialist 21
Job Description:
Work to design communication line attachments to existing overhead utility poles in compliance with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and utility standards.
Occasionally conduct field assessments and pole surveys to evaluate existing conditions and pole loading capacity.
Utilize design software and GIS tools to create detailed construction drawings and layout plans.
Analyze pole loading, clearance requirements, and make-ready conditions for new attachments.
Prepare make-ready engineering (MRE) documentation, bills of material (BOM), and work packages for construction crews.
Ensure adherence to permitting requirements, safety standards, and right-of-way constraints.
Track project progress and maintain accurate records and data for compliance and reporting.
Hourly pay may be negotiated upon review of experience.
Position Details:
- Pay Rate / Range:_____$21.00-$24.00______
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
