Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Tech I
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of production machines and facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding systems.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment, following lockout/tag-out procedures and safety regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure proper adjustments or repairs.
- Operate from elevated platforms and mobile lift equipment as needed.
- Report defective materials, faulty operations, or unusual situations to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records in computerized maintenance systems and ensure work areas are clean and organized.
- Support company values and continuous improvement efforts by performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years Minimum of 2 years of vocational or technical training in industrial mechanics, pneumatics, or hydraulics; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal training. - Required
- <1 year Industrial mechanical maintenance experience - Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with PLC controls and ladder logic.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and diagrams.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively.
- Proficient in using computers and software for maintenance management, troubleshooting, and reporting, across various operating systems and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and with multiple team members.
- Ability to properly assess and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing environment.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent - Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- Forklift Certification or ability to obtain - Required
