Staff Pharmacist
Salary:
$120,000 – $140,000 annually (DOE)
Final compensation will be based on overall experience, qualifications, and fit.
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Full-Time Staff Pharmacist to join their established community pharmacy team in Gray, Georgia. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, values patient interaction, and is passionate about delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care. The Staff Pharmacist will work alongside an experienced support team, including pharmacy technicians and relief pharmacist coverage, to provide outstanding service and healthcare support to the local community.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and treatment plans.
- Administer immunizations in accordance with state regulations and pharmacy protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
- Supervise, train, and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting.
- Promote patient safety and ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Pharmacist License in good standing.
- Immunization certification required.
- Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a busy community pharmacy environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to regulatory requirements.
