Hiring: Procurement ERP Technical Lead

Suwanee, GA | Hybrid / Onsite (Flexible)

Conure Technology Services is expanding its enterprise software portfolio and is seeking a Procurement ERP Technical Lead to guide the design and development of a modern Procurement ERP platform.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys shaping architecture, mentoring developers, and translating procurement business needs into scalable software solutions .

Key responsibilities

· Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, analysts, and architects focused on the Procurement ERP.

· Own the product lifecycle for procurement modules (sourcing, contracts, supplier management, purchase-to-pay, invoicing, spend analytics).

· Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.

· Oversee system design, architecture, data model, integrations (ERP, ERP-agnostic, CRM, e-invoicing, EDI, payment gateways), and APIs.

· Ensure security, data integrity, compliance (SOX, GDPR, etc.), and auditability.

· Drive governance, change management, and user adoption across procurement teams.

· Establish metrics and success criteria (KPI dashboards, time-to-value, user satisfaction, defect rates, cost savings).

· Champion agile/lean practices and continuous improvement.

· Ensure data migration and cutover plans for ERP initiatives.

Required qualifications and experience

· Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

· 8–12+ years in software development/ERP programs with 4+ years leading procurement/ERP initiatives.

· Proven track record delivering procurement ERP or highly integrated procurement solutions (P2P, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Management, e-invoicing).

· Experience with major ERP ecosystems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365) or best-in-class procurement platforms; integration experience (APIs, EDI, middleware).

· Strong leadership and people-management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.

· Experience with data architecture, data governance, master data management (MDM) for suppliers, products, and contracts.

· Familiarity with cloud-based architectures, security, privacy, and compliance requirements.

· Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and product management tooling (Jira, Trello, Asana .....)

Education and certifications (optional)

· Certifications in procurement (CIPS, CPP) or ERP certifications.

· Cloud and data security certifications (CISA, CISSP, vendor-specific badges) are a plus.

Compensation and benefits

· Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000
