POSITION SUMMARY

Performs a variety of task associated with the production or manufacture of various types of products.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/MAJOR DUTIES

• Insures that all products produced meet specifications for quality, and food safety.
• Sets up equipment as required for production. Follows and cleans items on the Master Sanitation Cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Ensures all required sanitation paper work is completed timely and accurately and turned into the supervisor or lead at the end of each shift.
• Performs continuous inspections of the equipment and building to ensure quality cleaning standards and food safety requirements are met.
• Ensures that all equipment is in good operating and safe condition.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Must be physically capable of rapid, unimpeded movement to all applicable production area. Must be capable of reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and pulling as required in production operation. Ability to lift 50 lb. bags, boxes of ingredients and packaging.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

One (1) or more years experience in sanitation/production work in a food manufacturing facility.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalence.
