Job descriptionCapitol Coffee is seeking a reliable and driven Warehouse/Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our warehouse. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping, while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. The ideal candidate will effectively lead and support warehouse staff, enforce safety standards, and continuously look for opportunities to improve productivity and workflow.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise and manage warehouse personnel
• Oversee inventory control, conduct audits, and maintain accurate stock levels
• Manage the full order lifecycle: receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve productivity
• Manage budget related to labor, supplies, and equipment
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, customer service) and manage vendor relationships.
• Monitor warehouse performance through KPIs and generate performance reports
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred (relevant experience considered)
• 5+ years of proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in warehouse and inventory management systems (WMS)
• Deep knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift items as needed
• Able to individually lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable with repetitive movements and tasks throughout the day

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday (On-Call Weekends)
Pay: $50,000-$60,000/year
