Accounts Payable Clerk

Prosponsive Logistics is a 3rd party logistics company based in Atlanta, GA. We are a 28-year-old privately owned company, with 9 offices, 115 employees and a positive company culture. We are looking for a pragmatic AP Clerk to join our team!

Summary:

Key duties include processing invoices, managing the accounts payable email inbox and responding to inquiries, communicating with vendors to resolve issues, reconciling statements, maintaining records, monitoring aging reports, ensuring compliance, and providing accounting support. The role also involves managing a high volume of email correspondence, collaborating with internal departments, and identifying process improvement opportunities. Additionally, this individual will be acting as a receptionist for the corporate office. These responsibilities include overseeing the coming and going of visitors at the front door, being a friendly face to greet them, and collecting and distributing the mail on a daily basis.

Reporting:

• Reports directly to Accounting Manager

Work Setting:

• Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions


• Mostly sitting behind a computer


• Five days in office

• Requires dealing with unpleasant, angry or discourteous people


• Includes conflict situations

Personal Interaction:

• Requires work with external customers or the public


• Requires work with others in a group or team

Communicating with Supervisors, Peers or Subordinates:

• Provide information to coworkers

• Discuss account status or activity with customers or patrons
