Job Title: Dental Assistant – Chairside Dentistry

Location: New York, NY

Employment Type: Contract | Temp-to-Perm

Schedule: Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week

Duration: 9 Weeks

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• 1-hour break included
• Alternate shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM as needed

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to provide chairside support in a busy clinical setting. The ideal candidate will assist dental providers during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, maintain patient records, and support daily clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during procedures and exams
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Support patient intake and documentation
• Maintain records using EPIC EMR
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines
• Educate patients on post-treatment care
• Maintain clinical supplies and equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Certified Dental Assisting Program completion preferred
