Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Quality Engineer II to join our QA team. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the performance, reliability, and functionality of our software products. Youll contribute to both manual testing efforts and automated test development, working closely with product managers and engineers throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans to validate software functionality and performance
• Identify, document, and track software defects, and verify fixes in collaboration with development teams
• Evaluate and refine testing procedures to meet evolving project needs and quality standards
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and define testing strategies
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and team planning sessions
• Contribute to moderately complex projects with limited oversight, balancing speed with precision

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing roles
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and defect tracking systems
• Experience with both front-end and back-end testing practices
• Strong hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional environments

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have):

• Background in the Fintech or payment technology industry
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS
